At Factory Manual, we specialize in providing digital service and repair manuals for vehicles. Because our products are delivered electronically through downloadable files, our return and refund policy differs from physical product policies. Please review the terms below carefully before placing your order.

1. Nature of Our Products

All products sold on Factory Manual are digital vehicle service and repair manuals delivered through a download link after purchase. No physical products are shipped.

By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a digital product intended for informational and servicing support purposes.

2. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled only if the digital manual has not yet been accessed or downloaded.

Once the download link has been accessed or the file has been downloaded, the order is considered delivered and cannot be cancelled.

If you provided us with a VIN, vehicle specifications, or any other vehicle identifying information prior to purchase or delivery, the order is considered confirmed against your vehicle and cannot be cancelled on the basis of fitment, compatibility, or incorrect manual selection.

3. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • You purchased the wrong manual and have not accessed or downloaded the file
  • The file provided is incorrect, defective, or cannot be opened
  • The manual does not match the vehicle information listed on the product page
  • A technical error prevented delivery of the download link
  • You were charged incorrectly

Refunds are not available if:

  • You provided us with the VIN of your vehicle prior to purchase or delivery
  • You provided us with vehicle specifications (year, make, model, engine, trim, transmission, or other identifying details) prior to purchase or delivery
  • We confirmed manual compatibility or selected the manual on your behalf based on information you supplied

By submitting your VIN or vehicle specifications to us, you acknowledge that the manual delivered has been matched to the vehicle you described, and you waive eligibility for a refund based on fitment, compatibility, coverage scope, or incorrect manual selection.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided if:

  • The digital manual has been accessed or downloaded successfully
  • The manual matches the product description and vehicle compatibility information
  • The issue is due to customer error, including selecting the wrong model, year, or specification
  • The customer lacks technical ability to use the manual
  • Fraudulent or abusive refund requests are detected

5. Alternative Resolution

If you are not satisfied with your purchase and the file has already been accessed, we may offer one of the following solutions:

  • Replacement manual for the correct vehicle (if available)
  • Store credit equal to the purchase value

This is provided at our discretion and subject to verification.

6. Refund Request Timeframe

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase.

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

7. Fraud Prevention

To protect our digital products from unauthorized distribution and fraudulent activity, our system records download activity including IP address, device data, and access logs. Factory Manual reserves the right to deny refund requests where fraudulent activity is suspected.
